Interviewer/Outreach Worker - SHAWNA Project
Elissa (she/her) is an Interviewer/Outreach worker for the SHAWNA project. Elissa considers herself a sex-positive, LGBTQIA2S+ ally and intersectional feminist. She is enthusiastic about working alongside a team of like-minded individuals at CGSHE, who are contributing positive change for marginalized communities. Elissa is a student of Gender, Sexuality and Psychology at Simon Fraser University. She is also involved with her Métis Nation as a founding member of the Métis Youth Mental Health Initiative; she seeks to empower Métis Youth through actioning projects, fostering education, reducing stigma, and facilitating Community discussion and engagement.
