Jue (Lois) Luo
Sexual Health Research Nurse
Jue (Lois) Luo is a registered nurse (RN) who grew up in China and has done quite a bit of global traveling. She is passionate about topics including global justice, social/economic determinants of health, minority health and intergenerational trauma. In her role as a nurse, she is a firm believer in holistic healing and seeks to strengthen therapeutic relationships with clients. She is currently a graduate student at UBC conducting public health research on the intersection of HIV/STIs, post-traumatic stress, mental health, and gender-based violence in the global South. In her spare time, Lois is a bookworm, ardent baker, and is always curious to learn new things and meet new people.
