Dr. Shira Goldenberg (she/her) is the Director of Research Education at the Centre for Gender & Sexual Health Equity. She is an Assistant Professor in Global Health at Simon Fraser University, an Affiliate Faculty in Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and founder and lead instructor of a CGSHE global health experiential learning course in Migrant Health in Tijuana, Mexico, in partnership with UCSD. She is the Principal Investigator of the IRIS Project focused on sexual and reproductive health among im/migrant and refugee women as well as Principal Investigator of the NIH-fundedAESHA Project evaluating the impact of laws and policies on sex workers’ health, safety and human rights.
