About the Workshop

The Centre for Gender & Sexual Health Equity and the Simon Fraser Univeristy International Refugee and Newcomer Program co-hosted a one-day Interdisciplinary Migration and Refugee Workshop, co-chaired by CGSHE Research Scientist and SFU Assistant Professor in Global Health Dr. Shira Goldenberg. Read the final report and round-up here. Are you conducting or interested in becoming involved in research about refugee and migration issues? 

Whether your focus is on Canada or internationally, if you’re looking at politics, economics, health, social and human rights issues, or any other aspects of this topic, we invite you to spend a day discussing your work and related issues with other scholars at this workshop co-hosted by CGSHE and SFU International.  Together, we will explore ways to collaborate with community partners and stakeholders.
