Dialogue on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Change Efforts (SOGICE), November 2019
This dialogue event discussing sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts (SOGICE) was co-hosted by the Centre for Gender & Sexual Health Equity in partnership with the BC Centre for Disease Control, the Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC), and Simon Fraser University. This event gathered key figures to strategize around understanding and addressing the impacts of these harmful practices, and supporting survivors of SOGICE in developing a community-led research agenda. CGSHE faculty member Dr. Travis Salway and Drawing Change’s Sam Bradd organized the dialogue, and participants included keynote panelists from the CBRC Summit 2019.
