The Brazil-Canada Initiative gathered data generated in Vancouver, Canada and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to offer a rich and diverse set of opportunities to characterize opportunities and gaps in HIV treatment as prevention approaches, with a strong emphasis on population health intervention ethics. The results are informing ethical and effective intervention practices at a population and individual level to address a serious and growing population and personal health problem â STI/HIV among young men.
- Research Objectives
Using data collected through over 100 interviews with young men, service providers and policy makers in Brazil and Canada, the initiative seeks to inform new strategies for STI/HIV testing service provision for young men.
