Milo Ira (they/them) is a CGSHE Trainee and an MSc student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University, under the supervision of Dr. Travis Salway. Following a 10-year illustration career in the queer narrative arts community, they are researching health determinants of Two-Spirit neurodiverse people. Milo has a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University, an AS in Biology from Douglas College and Biomedical Visualization and Communication certification from UBC. They are also an RA with the Two-Spirit Dry Lab, Turtle Island’s first research group focused exclusively on 2S communities.
